Ten Games Played in 2011

Not necessarily released in 2011, here are 10 games I played throughout the year.

Gears of War 3. I technically started Gears 3 three days before the end of the year, so even though I beat in in 2012, I’m throwing it on the list. I didn’t like Gears 2 all that much, so while I was excited to play Gears 3, I decided to throw in on the back burner for other games. I kind of wish I hadn’t. I would say it’s probably the most fun out of the three. It doesn’t have that same something the first one had, but that’s to be expected. The campaign was decently long, and they threw in enough surprises to keep me entertained. Loved the new locations and additional color palette. The new characters felt out of place without proper introduction though (I didn’t read the books released prior). I actually loved using the torque bow for once too. My favorite level was returning to Cole’s thrashball arena. I want to play this through in co-op asap.
