Ten Games Played in 2011

Not necessarily released in 2011, here are 10 games I played throughout the year.

Rayman Origins. Like Gears, I wish I has started this earlier. I’ve already pumped this one up enough in other posts, but I seriously can’t get over just how fun this game is. This is pretty much the game I’ve been waiting for since Mega Man 2 (with pit stops in the Crash Bandicoot series) in terms of platforming. The only thing bad I can say about it is that I get my button actions confused at times. The art direction is stunning, the music and sound effects are perfection, and the gameplay is tight and responsive. The difficulty is ramping up on me steadily, but I have yet to encounter a controller throwing moment. I want to play this game forever.
