Borderlands 2. By far my most anticipated game of the year. Now, which one to get?
Mass Effect 3 - Multiplayer. Been playing the MP section of ME3 off and on for the last few weeks. Now I’m pretty much hooked on it. My only complaint is smaller things, like armor color customizations, should be unlocked as you play with a character, not randomly dropped with upgrade packs.

Diablo III - Played the open beta this weekend. It ran pretty well on my iMac. I was pretty into it for the first couple of hours. Came back to it later in the weekend and the newness had definitely worn off. Not sure I have it in me to go on massive dungeon explorations.
Chasing Ghosts. Great look into the old arcade players from the early 80s. The actual film jumps around a little too much, losing its narrative a bit. If you’re into video games, it’s worth a look. It’s on streaming Netflix.
KOA: Reckoning. Beat it yesterday. Wish I could say I knew what the big reveal surrounding my character was, but the sound was a mess. I couldn’t make out 90% of what Alyin Shir was saying at all during the final trek due to what was going on in the environment around me.
Note to devs: If you’re going to reveal major plot points while running from point A to point B, you should probably dim the ambient environmental sounds while the person is talking.
I would say Reckoning is a solid AA title. I enjoyed the setting and all of the design elements. There was just something missing to tie it all together. I really think a better cutscene/interaction system would’ve helped tremendously. I liked Reckoning quite a bit, and would play a second entry in the series, but they really need to work on bringing things up to today’s RPG standards.
Saints Row: The Third. Played a ton of this over the weekend. I like it, and some of the missions have been interesting, but I don’t find it quite as supercrazygood as some sites have made it out to be. Maybe because I have yet to play co-op?
Rayman Origins. Started playing it in earnest yesterday. Haven’t been able to put it down. It’s just such a fun game. Haven’t had this much fun with a 2D platformer since Mega Man 2.
If you didn’t already know, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim started out at an original NES title (Just kidding!). Artist Famousafterdeath did, however, put the famous adventure game into a killer 8-bit shirt design.
You can grab one up now at his RedBubble store.

What I got for Xmas: Rayman Origins.
What I got for Xmas: Battlefield 3.
What I got for Xmas: Gears of War 3.
What I got for Xmas: Uncharted 3.
Dragon Quest VI - Realms of Revelation. Finally picked this up over lunch for $15. The Dragon Quest series has been my favorite RPG series since Dragon Warrior back on the NES. Even if I never play it, I still needed it.
Picking up MW3 so I’m not burned out for Skyrim. You do the math.
